Student Accounts: Monthly Payment Plan

The monthly payment plan administered by Tuition Management Systems (TMS) allows the University of Portland students and their parents to spread out annual college costs into a more manageable monthly installments interest-free plan. Please note that this payment plan is measured over the course of the fall and spring semesters only.

How it works:

• Simply start with your total education expenses for the coming year or semester. Subtract any grants or financial aid. Divide this amount by the number of payments offered in your plan. You may enroll at Tuition Management Systems, or if you prefer to speak with an Education Payment Counselor simply call toll-free
  1-800-722-4867 to enroll over the telephone.
• You will receive a bill each month. TMS offers several options for making monthly payments during the fall and spring semesters, including check or money order, automatic deduction, and on-line payment (a fee may be required for this option). Monthly payments received after the monthly due dates not in your payment Schedule may be assessed a service charge.
  

Payment Schedule

Choose 10, 9, or 8 interest-free monthly payments due on the first of each month, with the last payment of each cycle on April 15th.

• 10-Pay Plan: July 15 - April 15
  
• 9-Pay Plan: August 15 - April 15
  
• 8- Pay Plan option will need to be handled in the Office of Student Accounts

Enrollment Fees

A one time fee is required to sign up for TMS.
