Studies Abroad: Chile Summer
Students choose two of the following courses (Note: All classes are taught in Spanish and count for upper-division Spanish credit.) :
· SPN/SOC/SW 468 Comparative Health and Social Issues in Chile– Dr. Anissa Rogers (Director)
·SPN 391 Chilean History and Culture- Taught by Chilean Professor in Santiago. (Counts for History core class)
Students must have completed SPN 301 and 302 or the equivalent.
The cost of the Santiago, Chile summer program is $5,000. The cost includes tuition for six credit hours, housing and meals, excursions, and insurance. The cost does not include airfare.
The program begins June 25, 2014-August 1, 2014.
Students will experience South American culture through the summer program in Santiago, while earning six credit hours. For 2014, the program will be directed by Dr. Anissa Rogers.
Students will live with host families in Santiago.
