Students will have the opportunity to enhance Spanish skills in the classroom and with a home stay family. Students will also learn about the cultures of Costa Rica and other Central American countries through readings and discussions in class, and program excursions that will explore the country of Costa Rica. Excursions include a 3-day/2-night trip to Monteverde, as well as, day excursions to Isla Tortuga, Los Santos, Cartago, Limon and the Tirimbina Rainforest Center.
