Technical Support
Media Services Front Desk:
This student position in the Office of Technical Support is the primary point of contact between Media Services and University community. A qualified candidate for this position will have excellent customer service and communication skills. The front desk position also entails managing and coordinating the deliveries and returns during the shift. An intermediate working knowledge of the workings of the classrooms on campus as well as the equipment provided by Media Services is very critical. A successful candidate will also work closely with both the Senior Media Services Specialist and the Media Services Specialist to strive for a high level of customer service satisfaction. This position is between the hours of 7:45 AM and 5:00 PM
Media Services Assistant Manager:
Assist the Media staff in managing the Support Center. Help organize the morning deliveries, direct other student workers when the full-time staff is unavailable. Must have a good working knowledge of Media Services Polices and equipment. Help in troubleshooting issues in the classrooms, and maintain the Media equipment. Must be able to work any combination of two morning (7:45-10:30 AM) or evening shifts (5:00-9 PM) a week. Other duties as assigned.
Media Services Technician:
Provides support and minor assistance to students, faculty and staff in the Classrooms and in the Information Services Technical Support Center, and where needed onsite about the University. Major responsibilities involve delivering equipment to classrooms on time and in a competent manner, as well as basic trouble shooting of equipment in Media Services’ inventory.
