Cala Richman
Site Provider, AM Pre-K teacher calar@vhflc.com I was born in Venice, FL & moved to Vancouver, WA with my mom 12 years ago. After graduating high school, I began working as a Teacher’s Assistant in a preschool center; at that time I also enrolled at Clark Community College with Early Childhood Education as my major. I’ve now been working in child development for 6 years and have gone from assistant to lead teacher and from second in charge at an in-home to now provider/director. I’ve been working for VHFLC since 2009 & have now completed all courses for my Child Development Associates. I enjoy getting up & going to work every day knowing I get to spend my day “enriching the lives of children.” |

Infant/Toddler PM Pre-K Teacher LOOK WHO'S ON THE MOVE THIS SUMMER! Amy's last day teaching at UP Childcare was June 14. She will be moving from the area and into Washington State. Congratulations to Amy; she has accepted a teaching position in a Waldorf school. VHFLC thanks Amy for a wonderful year of teaching early childhood with us. She will be missed by teachers, children, and parents of UP Childcare. Have a great time, Amy!!I hold a Bachelor's degree in education and also a Waldorf Teaching Certificate. Upon this completion I taught for 7 years at Swallowtail School in Hillsboro. I am excited and honored to be working at the U of P childcare center and look forward to broadening my understanding and knowledge of young children and their development. |

Katie Landrum
Infant/Toddler My name is Katie Lundrum. I am originally from northern California. I moved to Portland five years ago to finish school at Portland State University. Fall 2010, I graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelors in Speech & Hearing Sciences. I worked with children all through college, and have worked for Vermont Hills Family Life Center for 2 ½ years. My first year, I worked with school-age children. Then I found my niche working with infants and toddlers. I love watching them and being a part of their language development as well as their physical, social, and emotional growth. |
