UPChildcare: Employment/Volunteer Opportunities
The UP Child Care has opportunities for student involvement through a variety of ways.
Volunteering
For Volunteering opportunities, please contact VHFLC UP Site Director/AM Preschool Provider calar@vhflc.com, 503-283-9688.
Volunteer tasks may include:
Working closely with a Teacher on-site with Infants, Toddlers, or Preschoolers
Reading stories
Crafting
Outdoor games
Clean up from snack, activities, or rest
Wiping runny noses, providing big squeezes, and HAVING FUN!!
Volunteer Scheduling:
Volunteers are welcome between 7:00am-12:00pm and 2:00pm-6:00pm. When contacting Cala, let her know what days & times you are interested in volunteering.
Volunteers may only start after completing an Emergency Information Form. The form can be emailed to you, or it can be completed the first day of volunteering.

Student Observations & Projects
If you are looking to set up a time for classroom observation, please contact site Director Cala Richman. Groups are welcome to observe -- limit of 3-4 people visiting at a time.
