Web & Administrative Systems: Banner, Argos, and Nolij training

Sungard SCT BannerHE is a complex, multi-modular data administration tool.  As administrative staff, budget directors, and faculty you will be called to use Banner to enter, interact with, and update institutional data.  Our goal is to help you do this easily while reducing error, maintaining standards and improving efficiency. 

Much of the on-campus Banner training is coordinated through the offices that "own" the Banner data.  For example, the Office of the Controller coordinates training for budget directors on how to interact with the Banner budget management forms.  WAS supports these offices intensively through dedicated analyst support and resource coordination with Sungard SCT. 

As a campus-wide support resource, WAS maintains a weekly Banner Resource Lab.  This lab is open to all Banner users on campus at any experience level.  The Lab is an ideal place to test out module functionality, work with an analyst on a new form, introduce yourself to Banner for the first time, or conduct coordinated cross-departmental testing of data management strategies.  Any Banner-related training or help need is perfect for the Banner Resource Lab.
