Tanya began her nutrition practice in 2014 and owns Columbia River Nutrition, where she provides community classes and private nutrition counseling. She is passionate about healthy living and whole foods eating, bringing this energy into the classroom to share with her students as a part of integrative health. She enjoys her time outside in the Pacific Northwest skiing, hiking, running, and playing on the river. Her research interests include the effects of nutrition on cancer recovery and how nutrition supports the body and aids in reducing the physiological effects of stress. Tanya is currently documenting her students’ experience with healthy eating and the positive impact this has on reducing test anxiety and overall academic stress as a demonstration of the importance of nutrition as a natural defense against the effects of daily stress.
