Captain Drew Lindley began her career in the Air Force in 2012 as a financial management officer after earning her bachelor of science in business administration and Air Force commission through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) at New Mexico State University in 2011. After completing the Air Force basic financial manager officer school at Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi, Mississippi in 2012, she was assigned to the 377th Air Base Wing at Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she served as the 377th comptroller squadron financial services officer and deputy budget officer. In 2015, Capt. Lindley was assigned to Special Operations Command Africa (SOCAFRICA), resource management office, in Stuttgart, Germany. While there, she held various budget chief roles, and was responsible for funding SOCAFRICA headquarters, U.S. Forces, and African Partner Forces across the African continent. In 2018, Capt. Lindley was assigned to Air Force ROTC Detachment 695 at the University of Portland as an assistant professor of aerospace studies, where she will spend three years developing premier leaders of character for the Air Force. Capt.  Lindley’s awards and decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal with Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster, and Joint Meritorious Unit Award. For leisure, she and her family enjoy backpacking, hiking, gardening, reading, exploring new restaurants, and playing board games.
