Jodine Blankenship

photo of Jodine BlankenshipJodi Blankenship is a lifetime Oregonian who graduated with Sigma Theta Tau honors from Oregon Health & Science University in 2013. She has been serving as a registered nurse specializing in pediatric nursing since then. In addition to being an instructor at the University of Portland, she also works as a resource nurse at Providence St. Vincent’s Inpatient Pediatric Unit. Previously, she served at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital (DCH) where she was involved in quality improvement at the unit and hospital level. Prior to DCH she served at the Providence Center for Medically Fragile Children, where she participated in policy change, precepting of students, orientation of new nurses, and competency training for other staff nurses. Jodi has a passion for teaching and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in nursing education. In her free time she loves to travel and play outdoors with her family.
