UP operates with rolling admissions for freshman applicants beginning September 1. We highly encourage students to apply in advance of our February 18 extended deadline. Make sure you have your application documents in and don't miss any important dates!

UP provides an average of $23,300 in financial aid to incoming freshmen, and that's excluding loans. We offer merit-based aid and need-based aid in addition to scholarships in music, theater, communication studies, athletics, and ROTC.
Any accepted freshman may apply to this program which includes honors core courses, focused work in a student's major, a faculty mentor, and special emphases on study abroad, research, service opportunities, and more. Incoming honors students have an average 3.8 GPA and SAT scores of 1300.
