Are You Eligible for Transfer Credits?

There are a number of ways a student can transfer credit to UP. Taking AP, IB, Running Start, dual or concurrent enrollment classes? See how UP will award credit.

Scholarships

The average amount of aid awarded to first-year students last year was more than $27,000, excluding student loans. We offer merit-based aid and need-based aid in addition to scholarships in music, theater, communication studies, athletics, and ROTC.

Honors Program

Any accepted first-year students may apply to this program which includes honors core courses, focused work in a student's major, a faculty mentor, and special emphases on study abroad, research, service opportunities, and more. Incoming honors students last year had an average 3.92 unweighted GPA and SAT score of 1420.
