Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
My plan after UP is to go straight to Physical Therapy School to get my DPT. So, hopefully 5 years from now I’ll be close to finishing up with that.

Favorite core class?
My favorite core class was probably public speaking which is funny because it’s the one I was looking forward to least before I took it!

Favorite professor and why?
My favorite professor was Dr. Kate Reagan. She was the professor who came with us when I studied abroad in Costa Rica after my freshman year. She honestly cared about every one of her students and wanted to know us all on a personal level. She made the trip such a positive experience and is a big part of the reason why I decided to double major in Spanish instead of just minoring.

Favorite Portland landmark?
I can’t pass up Salt and Straw ice-cream. It’s always worth the line, I promise.

Hidden talent?
Depends on how you define talent, but I’ve run 2 marathons and my mom thinks that’s cool.

Activities or clubs you are involved with or other leadership positions?
I work here in the Admissions Office and I worked for a year in Corrado Hall as a Community Assistant. I’m also a member of Alpha Lambda Delta which is UP’s honor society and I’ve studied abroad in Costa Rica as part of my Spanish Major.  I’m also doing a Physical therapy internship through the school this semester.

What is a Pilot?
A Pilot is a skilled navigator that can handle all the ups and downs of college life. Also, a Pilot always looks good in purple.

Favorite Pilots After Dark event?
Pilots After Dark is always fun but my favorite was when they did cupcake decorating!

Why did you decide to enroll at University of Portland?
I chose UP because it was a small, Catholic University, the right distance away from Boise without being too far. I also really liked Portland and the surrounding area.     I knew it was the right fit for me when I came to visit and I have never regretted my decision!
