Each Advent and Lent, the Garaventa Center, with support from Campus Ministry, offers numerous opportunities to engage in Visio Divina. Visio Divina–“sacred seeing”– is an ancient form of Christian prayer in which we allow our hearts and imaginations to enter into a sacred image, in silence, to see what God might have to say to us. The videos below offer a guided experience of Visio Divina, requiring about 15 minutes each. You’ll be guided through each of the six movements; all that is required is your receptive, contemplative silence. All images come from the St. John's Bible.
