Coping Support Group

Where: HCC Group Room, Orrico Hall Upper Level
When: 2:30-4pm, Fridays, October 4 - December 6 (with a break for fall break and Thanksgiving)
Who: The primary purpose of the group is to establish a safe place to be brave in tackling student life difficulties.

This group is for students who are feeling like they need more support in dealing with student life stressors including academic stress, social challenges, family difficulties, etc. This is a great way to feel more connected to other students while doing problem-solving brainstorming. Students and the counselor will work together to build understanding of the stressors, brainstorm actions that can be taken, and show support and empathy for each other when barriers and challenges arise.
