The Dundon-Berchtold Institute provides stipend and scholarship funding for faculty-student team research projects related to professional and applied ethics in the following academic disciplines: engineering, education, nursing, life sciences, social sciences, fine and performing arts, humanities, and business.
Individual faculty work with student of their choice on a research project related to ethical issues in their respective academic subject areas, or in the professions supported by those academic areas. The teams produce a report on their findings at year’s end.
Professors are named Dundon-Berchtold Faculty Fellows and students are named Dundon-Berchtold Student Scholars, and each receives a $2,500 yearly stipend.
