Joanne Olsen, PhD, RN, CPHQ, CPSO, has been a healthcare executive and operations systems consultant. Joanne has had experience in practical, professional and academic leadership positions at well-respected institutions such as Stanford Hospital and Clinics, Arizona State University and the Mayo Clinic. Joanne holds a PhD in nursing research from Arizona State University with a research interest in the role of cognition in medical errors. Joanne’s primary area of interest and teaching specialties include leadership, managing complex organizations, and performance improvement. She also serves as board member for Renown Health System Reno, Nevada.
