About

Nicole Auxier, PhD, BSN, RN is an Associate Professor at the University of Portland, School of Nursing and Health Innovations. Dr. Auxier completed her doctorate in Nursing Science at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2015 and bachelor’s degrees in nursing and Music, Piano Performance at the University of Portland in 2007. She joined the faculty of University of Portland in 2009 after working as a charge nurse at Providence Portland Medical Center. Her research interests include concept-based curriculum and professional practice.
