Gainful Employment

Final regulations published in the Federal Register on October 29, 2010, require institutions to report certain information about students who enrolled in Title IV eligible educational programs that lead to gainful employment in a recognized occupation (GE programs). Those regulations also provide that institutions must disclose to prospective students certain information about the institution's GE Programs.

In compliance with federal Gainful Employment regulations, the following publications describe certificate programs available at the University of Portland.

Post-Baccalaureate Certificates

These post-baccalaureate certificates are not eligible for Title IV financial aid at this time. The Office of Financial Aid will update this site if those programs are approved to receive funding at a later date.

Post-Masters Certificates

These post-masters certificate programs are eligible for Title IV aid as long as the student meets all other eligibility requirements. All other post-masters certificate programs offered at the University of Portland are not eligible for Title IV financial aid.
