The following message was sent to the University of Portland undergraduate students on January 4, 2022.
Dear UP Undergraduate Students,
We are excited for you to return to campus and are looking forward to a successful, in-person spring semester together.
We write today to share important details about our required testing plan for all undergraduate students that will take place next week. The plan is meant to help us understand how extensive Covid-19 infections are as students return to campus and the surrounding off-campus community. This knowledge will help us to begin in-person classes and activities as safely and as quickly as possible. We ask that you please read this message in its entirety as it contains very important information about the testing plan.
