Daily Health Check

Daily Health Check

The daily health check is a critically important tool in our efforts to keep members of our community safe and healthy. Each of us—students, faculty and staff—are required to complete a daily health check using the appropriate tool.

Students:

Complete your daily health check through the Carbon Health App. The daily health screening is on the main page of the app.

Students living on campus and off campus students coming to campus are required to download the Carbon Health app and complete daily COVID-19 symptom checking. Symptom tracking is an important preventative measure. Students are expected to complete the symptom tracker all days they plan to be on campus and may be asked to show that they are compliant in the Carbon App to enter campus buildings. Should a student develop symptoms, we want to be as proactive as possible in getting the students triaged with a medical provider, isolated if necessary to stop the spread of COVID-19. The challenge with COVID-19 is you can be asymptomatic (without symptoms) and unknowingly spread the contagious virus to others. That’s why we pair symptom tracking and good hygiene (masks, social distancing and handwashing) with surveillance testing. A Carbon Health provider will follow up with you if you are experiencing symptoms.
