Policies, Procedures, and Protocols

On-Campus Students

During the Spring 2021, students will be allowed to live in single- or double-occupancy rooms in the University's residence halls. Students will be part of a rigorous testing protocol designed to limit the number of positive cases of COVID-19 on campus. Prior to move-in, residential students will be required to sign a Pilots Prevent Pledge for On-Campus Students (in development). Following a brief quarantine period, students will have access to classroom and laboratories; study spaces in the Clark Library; the Beauchamp Recreation & Wellness Center (when allowed to open under state guidelines); and dining in Bauccio Commons (when allowed under state guidelines; take out service will always be available).

Off-Campus Students

During the Spring 2021 semester, off-campus students who opt in to the testing pool will have access to the Beauchamp Recreation & Wellness Center (when allowed to open under state guidelines); study spaces in the Clark Library; and dining in Bauccio Commons (when allowed under state guidelines). Students will be asked to sign a Pilots Prevent Pledge for Off-Campus Students (in development).

Faculty and Staff

During Spring 2021, employees are encouraged to continue working remotely as much as possible. Those faculty and staff members who are regularly on campus will become part of the testing pool and should follow policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain safety on campus.
