Arrival Day Checklist

Living on-campus this semester? If so, it’s time to start preparing for your arrival to UP!

Follow these 10 steps to ensure a safe arrival day and spring semester.

  1. Get a flu shot now if you still need one.

  2. Review the CDC’s guidance on How to Protect Yourself & Others and begin practicing these COVID-19 protective behaviors now.

  3. Quarantine before your arrival to campus. This means staying at home for 14 days before your scheduled arrival day, watching for fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other symptoms of COVID-19, and staying away from others when possible. You can reduce your quarantine period to 7 days before your arrival if you can get a COVID-19 test at home, with a negative result, within those 7 days.

  4. Review the Pilots Prevent Pledge and the enclosed links to housing agreements that you have signed. You will sign the pledge in-person on your arrival day.

  5. If you don’t have a UP ID card yet, upload your photo so that your card is ready on your arrival day.

  6. Prepare for a streamlined move-in process by having all belongings and supplies ready when you arrive. Review this list of items to pack. You will be asked to stay on-campus once you arrive so please don’t wait to shop for dorm room items on your arrival day. Feel free to use the address format below to ship items to UP now so that they are ready when you arrive.
