What to Know Before Coming to Campus

In order to create a safer campus environment for students, faculty and staff we have implemented the following health protocols:

  1. Mandatory Daily Symptom Check: Student (living on or off campus) coming to campus are required to complete the Daily Symptom Tracker. Students will receive a link to download the app in January 2021.

  2. Testing: Students living on campus or coming to campus for classes or to use campus services are required to be part of the testing pool. Testing is provided on campus at no additional cost to students. On campus students please go here for more information. Off campus students please go here for information on signing up to get tested.

  3. Behavior: Students are expected to commit to the Pilots Prevent Pledge and thereby:
    1. Pledge to follow state, county and University guidelines
    2. Wear face coverings at all times on campus - indoors and outdoors
    3. Practice physical distancing (6-feet minimum) at all times - indoors and outdoors
  4. Reporting: Any student who is tested by an off campus facility and receives a positive result—with or without symptoms, no matter where they live—is asked to report their positive case. The information collected is confidential and will be used to inform campus departments handling UP's COVID-19 response and to ensure students have the support and resources they may need.
