Weight Room

The weight room at the Beauchamp Recreation & Wellness center is designed to meet the needs of beginning and advanced weight training. With a blend of both free weights and cable machines, users can find the equipment that will target appropriate muscle groups.

The weight room is a "quiet" weight room in that all weights have a urethane coating, the flooring is thick Everlast flooring and we encourage our users to make all feel welcome by limiting the noise they make while lifting. Members in the weight room have access to LifeFitness selectorized machines, UCS Racks, Ivanko weights, as well as medicine and smash balls, kettle bells, back rollers, TRX bands, and plyo boxes in the functional fitness training areas.

Both female and male weight room assistants are available to help with training and to ensure that participants use equipment properly and return it to the proper location.
