We Miss You

We miss seeing our Recreational Services community at the University of Portland on a daily basis.  Taking care of our bodies and minds is more important than ever. We have new resources on our website for our loyal followers to enjoy including live UP classes, links to workouts, nutrition, tips,  and encouragement.  We want our UP Rec Services community to stay fit and have fun.

Recreational Services wants to ensure that you have the resources you need to keep recreating during the COVID-19 outbreak.  Because the Beauchamp Center is closed and our programs are not taking place in the building, we are working to provide resources that will help you maintain your mental & physical fitness during our closure.  Please take a look at these great resources.

Exercise can boost your immune system. High-intensity workouts tend to reduce your immune system’s ability to fight off illness in the hours after the workout.  During this time, we need to focus on our overall fitness including mental & physical well-being.

Take care of you.  These are strange times.  We haven't done this before.  Exercise, relaxation, meditation and enjoying the outdoors can help.  We can do this together.
