Apply to Graduate

All degree candidates must fill out a degree application form and complete all degree requirements prior to receiving a diploma.

Degree Application Instructions

APPLYING ONLINE:
For information about applying online, please follow this link.
If you apply online, you do not need to submit any paper forms. The online application allows you to indicate whether you will be attending the Commencement Ceremony or not.

SUBMITTING PAPER FORMS:
If you are not able to apply online, you may submit a paper application to the Office of the Registrar.
These forms should be filled out online, printed, signed, and submitted to the registrar's office. Handwritten forms will not be accepted. If you submit a paper form, please do not apply online.

If you are applying for a bachelor's degree, please use this form.

If you are applying for a master's degree, please use this form.

If you are applying for a doctorate, please use this form.

ALL GRADUATING STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO ATTEND THE COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY.

Students completing their degree requirements in December or May should indicate on their application whether they will attend the Commencement ceremony or not.

Students completing their degree requirements in August should indicate their request to participate in Commencement in May by indicating that they will attend Commencement on  their application.

If your Commencement plans change after you have applied to graduate, please send an email from your UP email to us at registrar@up.edu or use this form to indicate the change in your attendance status.
