Christie Assistant Hall Director

Ezequiel Delgado-Cervantes

Assistant Hall Director, Christie Hall

Ezequiel Delgado-Cervantes recently graduated from the University of Portland with a degree in communications and Spanish. He grew up in the Portland area and loved his time in Christie Hall during his freshman year, thanks to the wonderful students and staff who made Christie his home away from home. As an undergraduate student, Ezequiel worked for the Office of Residence Life as well as the Shepard Academic Resource Center. He spent three semesters abroad in both Salzburg, Austria, and Granada, Spain, which inspired him to pursue a career in student affairs. While he loves traveling to new places, Ezequiel likes to spend time frequenting Portland cafés and exploring the Pacific Northwest, as well as playing the guitar and reading as much as he can. He is thrilled to return to Christie Hall as its assistant hall director, and is pursuing a master's in higher education and student affairs during his time here.

Students say:

  • “Ezequiel is a very welcoming and respectful person. Most of the time, his door will be open where people can come in, hang out, and watch The Office or whatever. On top of that, he's also an amazing cook.”
  • “Ezequiel frequently makes an effort to create a positive and friendly environment in Christie. He is inviting and cheerful, and engages in residents to ensure they're having a good time.”
  • “Ezequiel does a great job of being involved in the dorm and is always encouraging others to get involved as well.”
