Kenna Assistant Hall Director

Kelin Carraher
Assistant Hall Director, Kenna Hall

Kelin Carraher graduated from University of Portland in 2016 with a degree in psychology. During Kelin's time at University of Portland she was a three-year resident and two-year resident assistant in Corrado Hall. Her sophomore year, she studied abroad in Salzburg, Austria, where she lived in community and enjoyed the wonders of art, history, culture, and travel with fellow University of Portland students. Kelin's experiences in residence life left her passionate for working and living with students. She is thrilled to return to University of Portland and serve in the Kenna Hall community while pursuing her Master of Arts in Higher Education and Student Affairs. A born and raised Oregonian, Kelin loves living in North Portland and exploring the city and all it has to offer. During Kelin's free time she likes to travel, read, hike, and cook.

Students say:

  • “Kelin is very nice and welcoming every time I speak with her. She seems to really care about the Kenna community.”
  • “As a resident of Kenna, I definitely look up to Kelin. She invests a lot of her time with the residents with all of the hall activities, and her positive attitude helps create that environment unique to Kenna.”
  • “The AHD in Kenna is very welcoming and caring.  She opens up her apartment after our hall masses, and she was there for me personally when I was going through a difficult time.”
