Renter's Insurance

The Office of Residence Life is committed to providing students with a safe and secure environment where they can grow intellectually, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. However, the University assumes no responsibility in most instances if personal belongings are lost or damaged in dorm rooms or in other areas of the hall, such as laundry rooms and trunk rooms.

In addition to keeping their rooms locked at all times, it is recommended that students purchase renter's insurance. University of Portland partners with a company called GradGuard. Click here for more information.

COVID Vaccination

All University of Portland students are required to receive a COVID-19 vaccination and submit proof of their vaccination here. On-campus residential students will want to take care of this before moving in to streamline their arrival day experience.

ID Card Photo Upload

Students who will be new to campus should upload their ID card photo now so that their ID card is ready on the day they arrive. Click here to submit an ID card photo to UP's Campus Safety office.
