Special Considerations for Registration

Student-Athletes

If you are a Student-Athlete: Practice times will be communicated by the athletics department to your program counselor, who will ensure that your schedule is built around scheduled practice. All freshman student-athletes will also be enrolled in HPE 108, “Life Skills for Student Athletes” a one-credit course meeting on Monday evenings. If you have any questions, contact Alison Knoedler, Director of Academic and Student Athlete Development at knoedler@up.edu.

Honors Students

If you are an Honors student: Your Program Counselor will be notified that you are an Honors student, and you will be registered for the appropriate courses. First year Honors students are enrolled in HON 101 and SOC or PHL 191H for Fall Semester. If you don’t see these courses on your finalized schedule, please contact honors@up.edu. Additionally, you will take FA 207H as your sophomore Honors course, so you should not be registered for it at this time.
