About Academic Technology Services

Academic Technology Services was created to support the use of technology in hybrid, online, and technology-assisted courses. We collaborate with a variety of stakeholders at UP to provide valuable services and technologies to support the integration of technology in teaching and learning. Our core service is to provide continuing professional development for faculty on current and emerging technologies.

We provide custom professional development opportunities that range from:

  • 1-1s: Individual or small group professional development and consulting on the integration of technology into curriculum
  • Hands-on workshops: Offered on a variety of UP supported and emerging technologies, on campus or digitally
  • On-demand: tutorial videos, how-to articles, and help sheets available 24/7
  • P2P: Connect with peers with ATS facilitated events and services like the TL Blog, Academic Technology Ambassadors, UP Crossroads speaker series, and more
