Library Accessibility Resources

The Clark Library is mindful of best practices for accessibility issues for all students.

  • The Library works closely with Accessibility Services to create electronic course reserve materials in accessible formats, to ensure that all students can participate fully in their educational process.
  • The Library provides overflow space for individual testing conducted by Accessibility Services.
  • The Library works closely with Academic Technology Services and Media Services to make sure that media on course reserve or streamed is close-captioned so all students can access the content.
  • The Library captions the video tutorials created in-house.
  • The Library, in concert with our local library consortium, has worked with our online library catalog vendor to help them bring their software up to accessibility standards, as well as reviewing subscription databases for interface accessibility.
