About

Erica Bailey, MS, RN, CNE, instructor and certified nurse educator, recently joined the faculty at University of Portland School of Nursing after completing a master’s of science in nursing education from the University in May 2016. Ms. Bailey is currently teaching Multicultural Population Health Promotion and serves as clinical, lab, and simulation faculty for senior-level nursing students in their Adult & Elder Health II course.

Ms. Bailey received her baccalaureate degree in nursing from Linfield College in 2011, graduating with honors. Her clinical nursing experience has been with the Department of Veteran Affairs, where she has worked in both the acute care and primary care environments, with an emphasis in health promotion and chronic disease management. Ms. Bailey’s additional areas of interest include nursing education, promoting health equity, and serving vulnerable populations.
