Maren Nelson, DNP, BSN, BA, FNP-C, RN, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Portland, School of Nursing and Health Innovations. Dr. Nelson completed her DNP and BSN degrees from the University of Portland in 2015 and 2009, respectively. She joined the faculty of University of Portland after working as a nurse practitioner in primary care at Salem Health Medical Group. She currently is a volunteer with Salem Free Clinic and continues to work on practice improvement projects.
