Why did you decide to enroll at UP?
I enrolled in UP because of its Catholic identity, renowned business program, and unique dorm culture!

Best memory from living in the residence halls?
Performing a song and dance with my friends at the annual Villa Maria Hall Man Auction, with all its proceeds going to charity, is hands down one of my most cherished memories from living on campus!

Favorite UP activity?
Playing intramural flag football and basketball with my friends!

Favorite UP event?
I can't think of another university with more school spirit for soccer games than UP. The Villa Drum Squad leads the loud and face-painted student section to Merlo field wearing kilts, banging on drums, and holding purple smoke bombs.

Favorite meal served on campus?
The Commons Friday special of toasted grilled cheese coupled with creamy tomato soup is an overcast-day essential!

Plans after UP?
To pursue a career in sports marketing with an entertainment network, clothing brand, or professional team and eventually return to UP for my MBA.

Favorite Portland area destination?
Going to Blazer games at the Moda Center are the best! Especially since UP offers student discounts for tickets.

Favorite UP professor?
The enthusiasm and passion that Dr. Warshawsky teaches with each class made my Spanish courses insightful and exciting!

Favorite UP class?
Sports Marketing with Professor Nanchy combined my passions for business and marketing and included in-class presentations from professionals who work for industry leaders like Nike and Adidas.

Fun Fact
I was a student manager for UP's men's basketball team for two years.

What is one piece of advice you would give yourself if you were a high school senior again?
Try envisioning yourself as a student at each university you apply to. Think about what activities you will get involved in, the person you hope to be in four years, and most importantly, choose the school you believe is right for YOU.
