Student Leadership Council

The Dean's Student Leadership Council is composed of students representing each department in the College of Arts and Sciences. Students are appointed by their department chairs in consultation with the faculty to serve for a one-year term. Students may be rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors. Sophomores or juniors may serve for a second term. The Student Leaders meet two to three times per semester with the Dean to engage in professional development activities, plan student- focused events, and select the winner of the Kay Toran Award.
