What Will I Learn in the Biochemistry Major?

Every major advancement in medicine, technology, and environmental science is built on biochemistry. University of Portland’s bachelor of science (BS) biochemistry degree program, certified by the American Chemical Society (ACS), teaches you impactful skills like analyzing DNA, creating pharmaceuticals, and detecting environmental pollutants.
