What Will I Learn in the Communication Major?

Communication Courses

Through diverse coursework and experiential learning, you’ll explore how communication molds people’s personal, group, and societal attitudes, values, beliefs, identities, and actions. Foundational courses build competencies across interpersonal, organizational, cultural, and mediated communications. Then, advisors help you select upper-level coursework in one of three main areas of study: organizational and relational communication, culture and communication, or environmental communication.
