"I am passionate about creating psychological safety in healthcare learning environments and am honored to join University of Portland and its legacy of developing resilient nurses."

Anne Hoang earned her associate degree in nursing from Saddleback College and her bachelor of science in nursing from Vanguard University of Southern California. She brings more than 15 years of diverse nursing experience spanning acute care, ambulatory care, case management, and infusion therapy, with a broad and practical perspective on patient-centered nursing. She continues to work per diem as a home infusion nurse for OHSU and will begin her master of nursing education this fall. Anne has enjoyed leadership and educational roles throughout her career, including acting as co-chair of the Ambulatory Nursing Council at OHSU where she facilitated the annual Ambulatory Nursing Conference. Her recent experience as adjunct faculty for University of Portland solidified her commitment to teaching. Anne is eager to mentor the next generation of nurses and looks forward to partnering with students as they build the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to provide exceptional care. In her free time, Anne enjoys providing respite care for foster families, cooking, hiking, dancing, and spending time with her family.
