About

Jim Jurinski JD, CPA (Washington) is a Professor of Accounting and Law at the University of Portland's Pamplin School of Business. Jim has taught at UP since 1987. He currently teaches the undergraduate courses: introduction to law, advanced law, personal taxation and business taxation. He also teaches family business planning, global business law, and taxes and business strategy in the M.B.A. program. He is a past president of the Pacific Northwest Academy of Legal Studies In Business. He formerly served as Editor In Chief of The Journal of Legal Studies Education, one of the two peer-reviewed journals of the national Academy of Legal Studies in Business. Professor Jurinski is also on the editorial board of the journals Real Estate Taxation and Journal of State Taxation and reviews accounting articles for the Journal of Business Ethics.
