John has performed frequently as piano soloist, accompanist and chamber musician in the local Portland area. He has taught a broad range of music courses and endeavors to integrate the various disciplines of musical knowledge and skill in a supportive way in each class. He currently teaches group piano classes offered for music majors (MUS 131A Piano Proficiency) and non-majors (MUS 130A Class Piano I).
