Joshua Swidzinski is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at the University of Portland, where he teaches writing, poetry and poetics, and literatures of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. His research has explored the relationship between poetry and the history of scholarship in the writings of Alexander Pope, Thomas Gray, Robert Burns, and others. View his publications here.
