Mick Mulcrone, PhD (1993, University of Washington), Associate Professor (Emeritus), joined the faculty in 1993. He teaches journalism courses covering communication law and history, which are home to his research interests. He has published several articles on the Irish Press in America in Journalism History, Portland, and The Oregonian.
