Victor Rodriguez Valdovinos, BSN, RN, is a member of the University of Portland School of Nursing & Health Innovations, acting as a Clinical Teaching Associate. Victor is a bilingual Latino nurse committed to health equity and social justice as evidence through engagement in domestic and international service projects. He is continuously involved in mentorship and tutoring projects at the local high school as well as traveling abroad to participate in surgical mission trips through Faith in Practice. As a first-generation college graduate, Victor hopes to use his experience to empower and guide others to reach their goals. He believes in his role; he has the responsibility to assure the students know they are the future leaders of tomorrow and inspire them to see their potential and not give up when there is adversity.
