Membership

The Beauchamp Recreation and Wellness Center (BRWC) is available to all current University of Portland students, faculty, staff, adjunct faculty, emeritus/retired faculty and members of the Holy Cross Community in good standing, at no charge.

Create a Preva account to track workouts on Precor machines. 

Spouses/Partners of students, faculty and staff may purchase passes to the BRWC.  Cost is listed in the Fee Schedule. 

Alumni in good standing with the University may purchase BRWC memberships.  Alumni members may also purchase membership for their partner/spouse.  Membership periods are the same as the University's fall, spring and summer semesters.

Guests

Students, faculty, staff, alumni, partner/spouse members, and Holy Cross members may bring a guest for an $8.00 fee if the sponsor is on-site for the duration of their visit, and the guest is at least 18 years old, 

Exceptions may be made if a special program is being held in the Rec Center for participants under 18 years old.  Guest passes expire at closing the day of use.

Guests must present a current form of photo identification (Driver’s License, Passport, University ID) to BRWC staff, who will record necessary information. 

Guests may not use the climbing wall area or participate in fitness classes unless a special program for guests is being held in one of those areas.

Sponsors may check out equipment for guests if needed.
