About

Abbey completed her Bachelor’s in nursing at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. She has clinical experience in the fields of public health and reproductive health.  Her love of public health led her to obtain an MPH.  Abbey’s interest in education and mentoring piqued while working with various nursing students and precepting new graduates in the acute care setting. She obtained her MSN in nursing education. It was during her master’s training that she found a passion for working in the simulation lab. She is a certified simulation health educator.  Abbey has educated nursing students in the areas of public health and reproductive health as a clinical instructor, classroom lecturer, and in the simulation setting.
