A transcript is a complete and faithful copy of the student's University academic record. Official transcripts bear the seal of the University and the signature of the registrar.

Requesting a Transcript

Online (paper or electronic copies) - If you are able to access Self-Serve you can request a copy of your transcript there.  Please see instructions for requesting paper or electronic copies.

Transcript Request Form - Instructions here - for use If you are unable to access Self-Serve. You can use the same request form for paper or electronic copies. All requests require your physical signature. Electronic signatures are not accepted.   

You must submit a separate request for each recipient and there is a limit of 3 transcripts per recipient.

Please Note: A request for an electronic transcript sent to you will be marked "Issued to Student" and is an unofficial transcript.  We can only provide one copy of your electronic transcript issued to you.


Free 2-3 business day processing. (Attendance prior to 1984 requires 5-7 business days.)

Rush Transcripts

$10.00 rush fee available for transcripts post 1984.  Please check the "same day" box on request.

Payment is due prior to processing.

Expedited shipping through USPS or UPS is available at an additional charge.

Delivery Options

Pick-up: Photo ID is required.

Mailed: Sent to the requested address through USPS first class mail.

Electronically: Delivered via e-mail through E-script Safe.  Not available for pre-1984 transcripts.

Please Note: We are not able to fax transcripts.

Additional Notes

The University will not issue transcripts for anyone with outstanding account balances or obligations.

For a Multnomah College Transcript, please specify "Multnomah College" on your signed request. Allow at least one week for processing.

Students must contact each institution directly for transcript from educational institutions which they attended other than the University of Portland.
