Institutional Research

Welcome!  Thank you for being in touch about UP data!

The Office of Institutional Research at the University of Portland is the official source of institutional data such as enrollment, academic profiles of students, demographics, and more.

The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) section covers various topics such as how to access institutional data and how to utilize external resources.

The Institutional Data section has the most commonly referenced data such as the latest At A Glance or Undergraduate Demographics or the Tableau Dashboards.

The Faculty Resources section provides support for program review and assessment.

The Assessment section offers extensive assessment tools and a way to schedule an assessment consultation.  Also the university-wide surveying calendar is posted.

The Data Governance section outlines the current committee structure/membership and projects.

The External Resources section lists links to external data sources, such as IPEDS and rankings, and provides tutorials for how to leverage external data for benchmarking.

The About section outlines current work of the office, lets you submit suggestions via an anonymous form, and links to the list of external reports the IR Office completes.

If all else fails, you can Submit a Data Request and we'll work with you to find the data you need!

Lastly, the Data Snapshots is a growing repository for short posts on interesting data topics.
