Dr. Hillary Merk is an Associate Professor in the School of Education at the University of Portland, in Portland, OR. She received her PhD in Education with an emphasis in classroom management and diversity, and a specialization in Cultural Studies and Social Thought in Education from Washington State University in Pullman, WA. Dr. Merk started teaching at the University of Portland in 2008 and teaches in the elementary undergraduate and MAT programs. She researches in the area of classroom management, diversity, teacher education, and cyberbullying.
