Main Lab

Current staff and faculty may reserve the facility's main lab equipped with projection, 14 Apple workstations, and seating capacity for 20 attendees. Contact José Velazco, Digital Lab Coordinator,  velazco@up.edu for more information.

Image and Audio Production Studios

The Image and Audio Production Studios feature space and technology for image capture, sound recording and video editing.


All current faculty, students and staff may reserve the studios by visiting the Digital Lab Service Desk located in the Shiley-Marcos Center for Design & Innovation, Room 301. 


 First-time users should reserve a time for a brief training (15 minutes) to learn policies and technology for each room. Contact José Velazco, Digital Lab Coordinator, velazco@up.edu, or by phone 503. 943. 7602 to make an appointment.

 

Additional Notes:

Reservations

  • Reservations are subject to cancellation or forfeit after 15 minutes of a scheduled reservation and promptly end at the reserved time or when the lab closes.

Food and Beverages

  • Food and beverages are not allowed in the studios.

Personal Items and Equipment

  • Users are responsible for personal belongings and are asked to remove these items while not using the studios or upon the end of their reservation. Items include:
    • Portable storage devices (strongly recommended) for file capture and editing.
    • Personal laptops, tablets, cameras, microphones, cables, etc.
    • Materials used for the promotion of a specific creator or group.
